My husband has been diagnosed with the same. They found his by doing surgery on lymph node, he now will soon have chemo and radiation for 7 weeks. That's what they are saying are his best options. Would like to stay in contact with you it sounds like my husband and you have the same thing. Not sure what to expect at this point yet

Close Head and Neck cancers
Type: TongueI am 44 years old. I have been diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma on the left side of my tongue. I had a biopsy a year ago and it was non cancer. It never went away so I had another biopsy and it came up as invasive squamous cell. I was a person who smoked cigars and did dip skoal and I have no one to blame but myself. I have stop all of that..whats silly is I was never really addicted to any of that...I just enjoyed smoking a few cigars a week and I enjoyed spitting.
