      Suffered from headaches for 18 years, migraines for 10.

      Treatments

      Imitrex Not Working
      Made me nauseated.
      Magnesium Not Working
      My neuro recommended this but it had the opposite effect on me! It increased my headaches.
      Maxalt Working / Worked
      This has worked the best for me out of all the triptans. I use the regular tablet, not the melt because I hate the taste of the melt.
      Topamax Working / Worked
      I have been on this for about 4 years, max dose of 200mg/day. In the beginning it was very effective. I went from 8 migraines/month down to 1. It has recently become less effective and I'm back to getting about 6/month.
