Gotta eat dinner... Mood
Saturday, May 2, 2009 | A General Update story

I found this site quite by accident looking for S.S.D.I. nightmares that happened to people to try and help them in their effort to obtain disability benefits as I recently applied and was approved within 3 months. I wasn't looking for Daily Strength at all but landed here and was caught up in what I saw. I read more and was impressed with what was going on in here so decided to give it a shot. Nothing else has worked for me as far as quitting my addictions and I like this format that until tonight was totally unknown to me. So anyway here I am. So it shall be written, so it shall be done. Wish me luck. I'll damned sure need it.

Gotta go eat.....I'm still sober...

I'm wishing you luck Jonesen. However you tackle this you will find support here on DS. I was in and out of AA for five years before I "got it." If you don't want AA I respect that and will still support you. I'm glad to hear you are looking after yourself by making sure you eat. Try some sweet things too to help with the sugar starvation at first, if you can face it! Gail
