Treatments
- Asacol Working / Worked
- I take 4 tablets 3 times a day. It has greatly helped the pain but loose stools will be forever a problem.
- Azathioprine Working / Worked
- I take 6 a day and it has helped relieve some symptoms
- Entocort Not Working
- Seems all this did was help me gain weight.
- Prednisone Working / Worked
- The Dr. had me on this for quite a while and it really helped the inflamation as well as a good side effect of helping my arthritis. It was terrible for causing weight gain however.
- Surgery Working / Worked
- Had a colostomy which lasted for 7 years. A reversal surgery was performed but didn't work due to scar tissue from the original surgery. I woke up with an iliostomy. After 6 months, this was reversed and I'm currently bag free. I hope it lasts.
