      I'm 67, married 10yrs to a retired AF Sgt who does not trust the medical community or believe anything is wrong with me except my age. He is 72. After a lifetime of cronic health issues (pneumonia, bronchitis, damaged joints, arthritis, fibromyalgia, heart arrythemia with attrophib, OA, RA, emphasema, & COPD, ) a new reumatoligist diag. CREST, then Scleroderma & now with my cardiologist found PAH.I am disably retrd after 35 years in bookkeeping, financial management, no friends or family nearby.P.S. Now my diabetes has gone Whacko.

      Thanks for your concern. I am doing fair. The last right heart cath was better than we thought went from 130 to 113 so they didn't change any meds. I am so thankful for that. Just haven't felt great but doing some better now. Love and Prayers, How are you?

      Thanks for the prayer. I swear those damn drs are using me as a guinea pig. Excuse the language!!! I am so sick of trying to figure out how to feel better and I go to them and they don't help. Make it worse!!!! Half the time. The trucks broke again so I'm frustrated. My sister sent me a really cool e-mail that I want to send to all of you but I haven't figured out how to do it yet. Hugs to all.

      Type: Limited Scleroderma (CREST syndrome)

      also PAH, diabetic, high cholesterol, and husband who cannot accept illness of any kind in anyone other than himself.

      I come from a family of diabetics and was told 15/20 yrs ago that I had Type 2, went to training sessions, had kept it under control using food plan and exercise. Now it shot up to 600 range, dr thinks it is from prednisone which I can not come off)has me back in training sessions, on Glucotrol XL 10MG and monitoring daily.

      Glipizide Working / Worked
      Physical Exercise Working / Worked
    • Open Pulmonary Hypertension

      Was officially diagnosed last Oct. after echo cardiagram and R heart cath. Have a husband who is fighting me all of the way which makes it even harder to deal with.

    • Open Fibromyalgia

      40 yrs of pain and misery. Various meds have helped to some degree over the years including shots(?). Was started Lyrica 150MG twice daily a year ago.

      Treatments

      Heat Somewhat Helpful
      Lyrica Working / Worked
      Major help, symptoms relieved MOST of the time. A cool breeze, A/C, etc still sets off. Need to wear long sleeves and pantlegs all of the time.
