It has been a long 4yrs in that time i have had my young son dignosed with Globel develpmental delays, hypitonia and poor vison, then my older son was dignosed with asthma, ADHD, Learnig Disablite, estropis, and chrons. Iaslo have two nephews that have been dignosed with respitory illnesses and mental illness. I just feel like our family can cut a break. we have been there for each other> I just think i ame having a bad day becase my older son is not taking his seriously We switch to anew pharmacy who by accident order the Humira prefilled syrings instead of the humira pen. my son was so afrid that he actully took the humira out of our refridge. our pharmist was able to get my son a new refill in pen form. when i got home we begain to get ready to give the injection. this process take about 30 min i have to use the emla cream to numb the sight of the injection and let the humira warm up be for the injuction. i have never had a broplem withmy son in the past but he took it apon him self to un cap the button portion on the injection and wasting the drug i had to use next months dose for today. I blam my self but i also not sure what has gottin in to my son. I explaind that this drug is helping his chron's flares. I feel like iam a bad parent.

You are not a bad parent. Just keep reminding yourself he is a child. It is hard for children to associate being sick a "long time ago", which is anything over two weeks ago, with the meds they have to take today. I don't know how old he is but the younger they are the harder it is to make the connection.
If I may be so bold, I would refuse to take the prescription if it is not as ordered: i.e. syringe rather than pen. Pharmacy mistakes should not be taken lightly. Especially if the child is afraid of one and not the other.
