You mean the crayfish? -funny you should say that - we had an african student staying with us at weekends when he was Mining(tin) with my ex. - we got one from the wharf in one of the small ports: it was rapped up (I should have shelled it).. He took one look at it, & just couldn't eat it: they taste marvelous, but now beyond my purse: cousin & hubby sold licence & boat last year: they worked on King Island - which is very rocky (middle of Bass Strait) Moved to Melbourne to retire, as both kids had gone there. She's my favorite cousin (in fact genetically we are half sisters). JaneD.
I AGREE WITH SIERRAFOX. THAT IS THE SCARIEST THING I'VE EVER SEEN!! IT'S GOOD THAT STEPH'S ARM IS IN THE PICTURE BECAUSE WE CAN SEE THE ACTUAL SIZE OF THAT MONSTER. LOL
Well, it's a bit "denuded "- the small legs have been removed already. One only eats the legs, and the tail. the kindest way to kill them is to drown them in fresh water. Most fishermen give them the boiling water treatment (ugh!). JaneD.
That is the scariest, strangest thing I've ever seen....:O
