    • Close Interstitial Cystitis (IC)

      I have had IC since 2001. It started with a bladder infection, followed by a yeast infection that didn't go away. I was finally diagnosed 3 years ago after going to several doctors. I can go months without any problem, then I'll have a flare-up that can last for weeks. I have the pain more than any other symptom. Certain foods definitely affect me.

      Treatments

      Elmiron Working / Worked
      took it for one month - didn't help & made me feel sick.
      MSM Working / Worked
      I take it off and on. Note sure it really helps.
      Pyridium Working / Worked
      Is somewhat helpful when I'm in a great deal of pain, but it also bothers my stomache.
