I've become fed up of being bored and alone so i've found a way to kill two birds with one stone. Rather than go back to volunteering at the childrens hospice i've found a local animal sanctuary which takes in abused and neglected animals, everything from rabbits to horses and they need volunteers! After a few weeks of procastinating I finally rang them today and am going to start volunteering with them, caring for the animals.
I've always wanted to work with animals, now'll get a chance to see what it's like and maybe it will help me make up my mind about changing to veterinary nursing. On their website they have 2 dogs which need rehoming, one is a 4 year old border-collie called Spot who was badly abused...he may get his new home sooner than he thinks 
, how could anyone leave him behind?
Even if someone else takes him before I do, it's ok as long as he goes to a good home and is spoiled rotten!

It didn't work out, the sanctuary is out in the middle of nowhere and I wouldn't be able to get there without a car :( Today was supposed to be my induction.
