Close Pre-menstrual Syndrome (PMS)
im a 27 year old women. i have one daughter and i am a single parent strugling with pmdd. i have been to a few different doctors and i havent been diagnosed but i beleive i have it. im extremely mooding and irrational as soon right before i start menstrating. it has always been that way since my first period.
Treatments
- NuvaRing Not Working
- this did not work at all for me. it didnt change my mood at all.
- Oral Contraceptives Working / Worked
- i am on yaz and i suppose it would be different for everyone but it has helped me a great deal. i have a friend who doesnt have any mood disorders and she took it and it made her moody. so it depends on the person
- Prozac Somewhat Helpful
- but it was after i got off of it. i got off of it because i had bad side affects from it. but emotionaly it helped a little.
- Zoloft Somewhat Helpful
- this also helped after i got off of it. but i couldnt stand the side affects when i was on it.
