About Me
I am 44 years old, and I have had Systemic RSD/CRPS for nearly half my life. I slid into a serious depression for 2-3 years, and managed to claw my way back out. I learned a lot. I have started a blog about my struggles, which I hope will grow into a positive place of support, where we can all come and share. If we can help one person not slide into that kind of depression, we have done a lot. Please join me at judylloyd.blogspot.com

Treatments
- Cymbalta Not Working
- made me have weird thoughts
- Flexeril Not Working
- Heat Working / Worked
- worked in the beginning on my back, but now my RSD, overly sensitive skin can't take moving water.
- Hydrocodone Working / Worked
- Lidoderm Working / Worked
- Lyrica Not Working
- made me have weird thoughts
- Meditation Working / Worked
- Methadone Working / Worked
- It does alright at taking the edge off of some of the pain. Just when I think it's not doing anything, and start tapering off of it, I realize how much it is helping.
- Mobic Working / Worked
- Morphine Somewhat Helpful
- Worked on the back pain, but not on the nerve pain
- Naproxen Somewhat Helpful
- Helps back pain, does nothing for nerve pain
- Nerve Blocks Working / Worked
- They worked the first few times, but the effects wore off quickly. Then, after about 5 blocks with decreasing effects each time, they stopped working altogether.
- Neurontin Not Working
- did nothing at all, even at high doses
- Oxycodone Working / Worked
- Physical Therapy Not Working
- Helped at first, then started making things worse
- TENS Working / Worked
- I have trouble with the tingling on my overly sensitive RSD leg - but the TENS helps my back some.
- Topamax Somewhat Helpful
