LOL, I wanted to post something after you in the maternal mortality increase post but Im sure you've seen that franny and I do not get a long so Im just going to leave that one alone...But I thought you post was amusing, I am also overweight, and on my 2nd pregnancy in 2 yrs, so I guess my pregnancy is also a death wish...B/c I had to have a csection with the 1st and I will have to have another one...I hope you are doing well, just had to give you a hug lol!
Thank you for your warm and well wishes. The doctor is stilling trying to figure out how many weeks. My calculations: four weeks. Keep trying, but more importantly, keep praying.
Hi! My first OB appt is the 25th. I don't know if they will do an US then. I suppose they would to confirm if there is more than one baby cause of clomid. But I kind of think they will wait until the 20th week for an US cause my insurance only pays for 1. But I will see. Good luck, I would be excited too!
You will soon enough! It's a wonderful reminder of the little life growing inside, but also an obstacle when you're sitting in the car and trying to get something you dropped on the floor.

My husband and I have been trying to concieve for 4 months. I have many health issues (overweight, high blood pressure and insulin dependent diabetes) all are controlled but we haven't been lucky. I am seeing an OBGYN that specializes in fertility in a couple weeks.
I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes in 2004 just after my father died of a sudden, massive heart attack. I wanted to get myself checked.I have struggled with diabetes as a young person. I've wanted to eat, drink and party like a young person. Diabetes has really put me in check. It is well controlled currently with Metformin and Insulin shots. AIC is currently 7, we want it under 6!
I just found out that I am about 4 weeks pregnant and I would like the support of my fellow pregnant women.
