I was diagnosed in Sept.2006 with "Relapse Remitting MS" - I have been on Avonex once a week since... this site gives me the 'daily' support to know I am not the only one... i don't know anyone in my area with MS and the family and friends just don't 'get it' ...as supportive as they do try to be they really don't understand how 'weird' this is !

I just wanted to thank you for being so blessed to have so many friends here, and you of course for being one of them. This disease is so strange to those who don't have it. It's like this....if you DO have the disease and things are upsetting you , there is no explanation necessary when we come here. If a friend does NOT have this disease and we are up set....there is just NO explanation possible! Thanks for understanding and being there for me! God bless you and yours always! Sheila xoxox

- for MS leads to flu like symptoms every week the fatigue prevents me from getting another job so limits the income
