What does the dictionary say the definition of Love is:
1 a (1): strong affection for another arising out of kinship or personal ties (2) affection based on admiration, benevolence, or common interests as (3) unselfish loyal and benevolent concern for the good of another: (4): brotherly concern for others (1): the fatherly concern of God for humankind b: a person's adoration of GodWhat does love mean to me? well let me see..I love my family, my pets and my friends ..And how I love the Lord Jesus..but wait, if I Love Jesus more than anything and I want to do what he teaches me to do then I have to love everyone the same way..Now that gets hard..How can the Lord expect me to love someone who has done me wrong, lied on me and even stole from me? How can I love that person when in fact I hate him? The dictionary says it means having affection, unselfish loyality, concerns..and so forth..but again how can I feel anything for a person I can't stand?
1 John 4:7 (New International Version)
Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.
1 John 3:23 (New International Version)23And this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us So if I trust in and believe in God and listen to him he will put the love for my enemies in me.
.
1 John 3:18 (New International Version)
18Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth.
1 John 4:7 (New International Version)Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.
So the word of God tells me that I must love everyone the same, no matter how hard it is..That with the Lord on myside I can not only love them but do right by them with actions and truth.
But what happens if I hate the person so much for what they has done to me ? What could it mean if I just can't forgive them evenless love them? Surly God would forgive me for this one little thing since he knows how much I Love him.
1 John 4:20 (New International Version)
20If anyone says, "I love God," yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen.
Ok, so not only do I have to forgive this person, I have to love this person and do good things, like asking God to Bless him/her, and take care of him/her.. OK Gd, I know its going to be hard but I know with you changing my heart and mind I can do it..
I know some of you have people that you just can't bare to even hear about evenless be around, but we are told by God to forgive them and to love them and as hard as it is in the beginning, With God's help we can do it..God Bless each one of you.

Michael attends a mainstreamed school. I bring him in every day because a lot of times the teachers aren't in …

Thanks Tammy - last year a friend put around our town a nasty untrue rumour that could have got my husband fired but we dealt with the matter. Despite the hurt I forgave her and a couple of people have told me they could never have forgiven her. But when faced with the amazing wonder of God's gifts to me in love, grace, forgiveness and salvation I just had to forgive her (she is a Christian) because to not forgive her makes me a stranger to God and I cannot live without Him. God does change our hearts and minds and all we have to do is be willing for Him to do so. God bless you today Tammy.

Love the sinner not the sin. It is amazing the Grace that comes from actually living this way. When we realize we are not to judge others, or put others under a microscope and have them justify their every action, that is between the individual and God. The more I did this the easier it got, I have had some pretty terrible people in my life and have by the Grace of God been able to not only forgiven them but have God's love for them. What this did for me was to bring me to the place of humility for my own life, that I am not any more or any less than anyone else.
God Bless!
