Been member of DS since 7-07 but due to acct tech problem changed ID's. I'm married to a wonderful husband, have 2 adult kids (son 28, daughter 26), 1 5 yr old grandson and a new grandson coming in 3 mos. I completed HepC tx 10-08 - 6 mos post tx test is SVR! Philosophy is to love/share with all and it will be returned in full! Laughter is my spiritual healer - humor makes the world seem a better place even when it sometimes isn't (lol)

I enjoy the outdoors: gardening, camping, bonfires, swimming & fishing @ my lake. Also love sunsets!

Your so lucky to have grand babies, I'm waiting, the kids just got into a new house so maybe soon when they get settled in they will be able to work on having some little ones. So how did Bobs trip go? Oh I talked to taz but not for long, don't think she is doing well, I will give her some time and call again. Take care sis and Blessings coming from Texas to you and yours

Moment of Peace
Just called Taz and her belly is blown up again and her potassium level is low, she rushed off the phone but I did get to tell her to try to get back on. I love a fire too, inside and out , got one going now but not before I smoked the house up, its the first for the year, takes me a little while to get it together, suppose to freeze here tonight, hope to see the meteor shower tonight. Tell Bob I said hello and enjoy your fire. Texas blessings coming your way.

Close Hepatitis C
Dx'd in 7-07 after having for 30 yrs. Started 48 wk tx 10-07 & completed 11-08. SVR @ 6-mo post-tx test 1 week ago 4-09! Still doing happy dance!
Treatments
- Interferon, pegylated Working / Worked
- It wasn't too bad and I was able to complete and achieve SVR @ 6 mos post tx
- Milk Thistle Working / Worked
- Been taking for 2 yrs - hoping it works but no problems with it.
- Ribavarin Working / Worked
- Worked - 48 wk tx and achieved SVR
- Chantix Not Working
- This worked great I quit smoking for almost 2 mos but ended up in hospital wgastritis and esphosgeal spasms so quit and am now trying nicotine patches fingerstoes crossed will work!
