Had a few good days this week and then boom, today. Tired, sore hands, feet. chest heavy and above all, made plans to go out tonight which cannot be rescheduled.
A little scared and sad now too. To think of how little control I feel I have and how much of a life I will have. This all doesn't make any sense.

Oh, Matt - you're right, this doesn't make any sense. I'm sorry your plans are sched'd for when you feel lousy.
Question for you - while you were feeling good the past few days, could you have overdone it? Beginning to feel better is a double-edge sword. Of COURSE it's great to have good days; but the normal tendency is to try to fit in all the normal life stuff you'd typically do, prior to Lyme, during those days.
I'm in NO WAY laying blame at your feet for how you feel, please understand that? It's just that while we're healing, we need to manage this frickin disease without any road map.
It really sounds like you're making good progress, and tho you may not feel well today, you WILL have good days again. Soon.
Hang in there, treat yourself well while you're down, as well as when you're feeling well. Our bodies aren't quite as resilient (yet!) as they once were, or will be again.

Although I've been active, not sure if I'd classify it as overdoing it, although who knows with this thing. I've been taking it slow for the most part but it's obvious that my treatment is far from over and that's depressing. What's even worse is that I go to North Carolina in 2 weeks. :(.

Im gonna be in Wilmington one day for a wedding and then my parents live down by Calabash.

In-laws live on the IC Waterway in Ocean Isle. We kayaked it the waterway once. It was beautiful until we took a spill. Hope you're having a lot of fun!
