Close Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
Type: Relapsing-remitting MSdiagnosed 5 years ago but know have had for over 13 years "See with your heart" is my motto in life
Treatments
- Avonex Working / Worked
- took for 3 years but was miserable with "flu" and other side effects
- Copaxone Working / Worked
- on this for 2 years & do not get sick from it!!yahoo!do hate the lumps & bumps it has left though. a good trade off all things considered
- Botulin Toxin Working / Worked
- botox injections every 3 mos in feet & calves(big time ouch!!!)but has helped me so much w/spasms, cramps,& pain..worthwhile!
- Mirapex Working / Worked
- very small dose has contolled my "jerking" & kicking.especially while sleeping..used for restless leg syndrome, has done wonders for me
- Zanaflex Working / Worked
- muscle relaxant(zanaflex)worked better than others I had tried.at 1 point taking max dosg,not taking at all now since botox injections.more energy now
- Zoloft Working / Worked
- 200 mg/day for depression and anxiety attacks.
- Baclofen Not Working
- little to no difference seen
- Ritalin Not Working
- was horrible!!didn't even get up to full dsg before having anxiety,depression,overall crazy feeling..was taken for fatigue awful experience!
Close Smoking Addiction & Recovery
have smoked forever..since 18 anyway..have quit several times for short periods using every technique there is..chantix seems to finally be the crutch I need to help me stop.
