    • About Me

I am a manager in a distribution center and have a wonderful family. I believe that everything happens for a reason and we have to work every day to keep each other happy. I love to watch movies with my husband and spend time with my 5 beautiful grandkids. They are 13, 12, 8, 7 and 5.

I had a crainotmy on 3/30/09 and started back to work yesterday, 4/25 for short days. I was having headaches when I started working out with a trainer on 3/5. They were like no other headache that I had every had. After thinking it was because I hadn't eaten well, I tried working out 2 more time. I googled it and then decided I should go see my dr. She immediately said I should have an MRI. I had the MRI on Tuesday 3/17, then the surgery on the 30th.

      Treatments

      Surgery, Brain Working / Worked
After my MRI my nuerosurgeon scheduled me for a angoigram. They found 2 more that were small (1mm each) that they decided to leave alone. I was scared about the surgery, but trusted my surgeon to make the right decisions. After surgery was hard and I was in ICU for 4 days, then I came home on the 5th day. I don't have any issues from the surgery and didn't lose and memory or anything else. I am already back to work short hours and have been walking for the past week. I am grateful to be alive.
