About Me

I am originally from Chicago. I came to Ft. Lauderdale in my early 20's and loved to party. I married my wonderful husband, Jerry, in 1983 & we celebrated our 25th anniversary last December. Not blessed with children, but I am a pet lover & rescue many lost animals. I found out I had hep C & cirrohosis 6 years ago. Labor Day of that year I began treatment. I quit after 4 months due to blood clotting problems, emotional & extreme physical problems. I am going through medical tests & waiting to see if I am a candidate for a liver. I hope to know sometime in June so I can go from there.

Interests

Love of animals, except Ferrets -- they chase & bite me. I hate them. Mininie Mouse, my latest rehab puppy, now a 9 mo. Jack Russell who is way too smart. Books -- lately I'm into the South around late 1800's. Perhaps I was a southern belle at one time??? Theatre. See "Chicago" if it ever comes to your area again. Excellent! Right now BBQ get-togethers with long time friends. Love to laugh till it hurts. My faith in the Lord -- very personal & important to me.
