I went to a friends funeral this morning, bitter sweet! Although she was 93 years old and did so many wonderful things for so many people in her life time, Im sad I think more for her sister that she left behind, Anne was so close to Rita they were Nuns most of there adult life and they gave there lives to God, it still doest make it easy! They went to jail from time to time in Peru for there beleifs, but they would get out and fight some more for their cause, mostly it was for world peace and for the poor, and ofcourse for the children all over the world. Her sister today wrote a letter to her and it was so moving I dont think there was a dry eye in the church, so this is just a sad story of two wonderful women in the Catholic Church that we go to.The service was of a new life welcoming her home. She was Irish so there was somebody playing the violin it was beuitiful, not crazy over violins but it still was beuitiful. I hope that her sister Anne can come to some peace with this some day I know she will when shes ready, shes just very alone now by her loss of her sister, and best friend, we are all here for her but I know we cant be Rita. The Father of our Church is such a wonderful Man and these two are his favorite of all, the two of them are very outspoken women and just as sweet as can be, they both tell it as it is, and I think thats alot of why they were in jail, lol. I will miss her so, and I know shes in a better place with the Lord and so thats whats so bitter sweet. I miss you dear Rita.

Sometimes it can be peaceful when we say good bye to ones who mean so much to us.

God Bless you and Sister Rita and her Soul. I know she is with her Lord now. I lost a friend and aunt who was a nun of a catholic church and an educator for years last year in Dayton Ohio, which came as a shock. She was my first husbands AUnt but she was alos the only person in the family who ever really cared about me, respected me and treated me with respect and unconditional love.
God bless you, I know loosing such a wonderful person who gave every inch of themselves to what they believ in is hard, all I can sy is that there reward is certain now in heaven. God love you, and let Gods love shine down on you each day of your life.

Thank you for sharing the celebration of Sister Rita's life. Her spirit will live on through those whose lives she has enriched through knowing her.
The world needs people like the wonderful Sisters, without their commitment and love it would be a barren place. Love, light and peace.
