Close Hydrocephalus
On April 20th 2009 my son was dignosed with Hydrocephalus. It was a normal day and my 7 year old said he had a headache as the day progressed his headache was worse I checked his temp and no temp I gave him tylenol. The next morning we went to the Dr. and he sent us straight to the hospital where they thought he had a migrain until I finally said this is not my son please help and they ordered a Cat and from the Cat an MRI and the next morning he recevied a shunt.

- I have never felt so helpless to watch my baby have so much pain and to be lifeless is some place I never wat to go to again. The lack of sleep just watching his every move and the nurses and Dr. I did not want any stone unturned. We were blessed to have the support of so many family and friends. It has only been 5 days and we just got home from the hospital yesterday and he is returning to his old self. His next appt is the 7th of May 2009 and I have so many more questions.
