Close Migraine Headaches

I was diagnosed with basilar migraines almost 30 years ago - only had 1 or 2 a month until late last year when they started happening daily. My symptoms include lowered level of consciousness, aphasia, confusion, numbness, temporary blindness.......anyway you get the picture. Sometimes I have pain but not frequently. Am back on the medical hamster wheel and tried topamax which was excruciatingly awful so now kind of floundering trying to figure out how to make it through each day.

Terrible scalp tenderness and pain.......would wake up screaming........stayed on the drug for 10 days
