Adoption Too Soon to Tell

Adopting embryos. Can no longer afford college for my kids. Will know more in June

Basal Thermometer Working / Worked

It did show ovulation

Clomid Working / Worked

Not sure. I ovulated on my own anyhow and was not monitored to see if I produced more follicles. I was a raging lunatic.

Follistim Working / Worked

used for 1st 2 ivf's and produced a god amount of follicles/eggs. Had a few hot flashes not sure if it was stims or lupron

hCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) Working / Worked

used for all 3 ivf's. I guess it did it's job

HSG (Hysterosalpingography) Somewhat Helpful

Extremely painful with blocked tubes. Minimal cramping for an hour or so after

Hysteroscopy Working / Worked

I had one while under for lap and another done while awake for our embryo adoption. Much easier than HSG for me. Confirmed healthy uterus.

In Vitro Fertilization Not Working

3 failed ivf's.

Lupron Working / Worked

used for all 3 ivf's and embryo adoption. Had headaches throughout and a few hot flashes.

Ovulation Predictor Kit Working / Worked

used the clearblue easy monitor and test kits before that. Both showed ovulation that coincided with temping and charting.

Progesterone Working / Worked

used progesterone in castor oil with all 3 ivf's. Not bad if I massaged it well after and walked around a bit to minimize the itchy knots that would develop the next day. Had heartburn more often. Also took prometrium(pill form) and noticed no side effects other than onset of AF.

Repronex Working / Worked

used for 2 ivf's and produced a good number of follicles/eggs. Had a few hot flashes not sure if it was from stims or lupron

Vitex Working / Worked

Actually a mixture of herbs called Dr. Christopher's reproductive formula.The only time I got pregnant I was taking this, but it was ectopic.

Estradiol Working / Worked

using it for embryo adoptionFET. Possibly caused shorted cycles for 2 months after mock cycle. No discernible side effects so far.
