My name is Sharon, I am 46 and have had FMS for 8yrs although I was only diagnosed 3yrs ago. I was a community care nurse but had to give up when diagnosed, I have 3 wonderful children that help anormously. I am newly divorced after discovering that my ex husband was not the person we thought he was.
I have suffered with migraines since the age of 13, I have fibromyalgia and that has increased the frequency of attacks 3 fold. I now suffer 1 attack that can last for 3 days at least once a week due to trigger points in my neck and shoulders.
My huband and I had been married for 12yrs, I found out in July 08 that he had behaved sexually inappropriatly in front of my Daughter, was sexually depraved and then I found out that he had an affair with my mother.
