Close Infertility
Type: Ovarian IssuesMy husband and I started "trying" to have a baby in 2001. We tried for a year then did all the labs to find out that I don't ovulate. After every test my OB-Gyn could do, she did an exploratory lap to basically tell me that I don't ovulate and that my fallopian tupes are infected and need to be removed. She referred me to Ohio Reproductive Medicine. After 7 years, we are finally financially stable enough to start IVF. We are hoping to do our embryo transfer in the next week or two.
Treatments
- Follistim Working / Worked
- I have been on it for 5 days now and only have minor cramping.
- hCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) Too Soon to Tell
- Start this next week
- In Vitro Fertilization Considering
- We are hoping to do IVF in the next week
- Lupron Working / Worked
- I have been on Lupron for a month now. The first few days my face broke out with about 50 little white heads and I NEVER have acne. It went away after a few days with the help of some acne medication. I was also super nausous for the first 2 weeks and then that went away. I have been fine for the last 2 weeks.
- Repronex Working / Worked
- Have been on for 5 days and only have noticed a little cramping
