  That is just crazy. I don't understand where docs seem to think they can just treat us a certain way--all anyone wants is some respect. I am glad you didn't choke the lady--I might've been pretty tempted, but I am sure it put her in an awkward spot too..I bet she was pretty mad at that doc, if I had to guess. I hope is going well and your husband is doing better? I was just releases from the hospital myself, but I feel better just so tired!!! Let me know how you are doing?

  oh my goodness--I just read your message, your poor husband and you poor you!! That has to be so hard, I cannot even imagine how difficult that must be, with him hurting and with your situation to begin with. You need God himself there and I know HE is, even though it may not feel like it. HE never leaves your side, this I know for sure, otherwise, I would be absolutely crazy. I know it. Not I am not crazy enough, because I am--with my recent breakdown. I am having problems taking as much meds s they have given me--they just make me so tired--I mean, I am sleeping until 3 or 4--that just cannot be rigth. What I would give to get back on a regular schedule--8Am to 11PM with the correct timing of my meds--but I just cannot seem to get it to together. I dunno know. Listen, I send tons of prayers and hugs your way--I hope the next few weeks go by as pain free as possible and as quickly as possible. As always, I am here as a friend should you need one. Lisa D

  ok, gal--you need a high five. When it rains it pours!! My Dad used to also say, and ugh--this would hack me off..but he would say "In a hundred years your not going to know anything about it anyway"...and guess what a short or six or seven years later and he really don't know anything about the trials and tribulations we get to face her on this earth. I guess I am trying to say Chill in a s poliet manner as possible without making anyone mad, because when I am hyped up and someoone has the nerve to tell me to chill..wellll...it usually does not go over to good. So I am taking a big risk here and saying Chill, in a hundred years you aren't going to care anyway. There, done and said. And with that, I hope things get better for you--where are you located at? I am in Springfield Missouri..good ole Misery as we natives like to call it--I am about 20 mins from Branson. It's home. Just know that you always have a friend should you want to go into more detail into what is happening with your son and your life...I am always here to listen.   Just a simple How are you? I haven't seen any jounral entries from you here lately so just thought I would check. I am always here should you need a friend. My appointment with the pain management clinic got pushed back until Nove 2nd, which is fine. I am doing ok and I think I can hand in there until then. Right now, they have me on way too much meds...I can't seem to stay awake with what they have me on--so I am looking forward to talking to them about that. I want the pain treated of course, but I don't want to go through my days totally medicated though. I still have half a life to live here!! Look forward to hearing back from you. Lisa D

  Thanks!!! I am nervous and excited at the sametime for the Pain Management Clinic-- I will be sure to get a good doctor that is compassionate and who is sincere--I am with you on that one..some of the docs--geez. It is not like we bring on this pain ourselves!!! Thanks for your advice--think of me!!

  Thanks so much for your words about my son. Sorry it took so long to respond. I know he is WELL trained. I am not as worked up about this deployment, he has changed MOS and will spend most time on base. Last time was a horror, he was gaurding convoys all over northern Iraq. 9 ied, an a lot of firefights. He was wounded 3 times. It was scary, me and his dad were a bundle of raw nerves for a year! He is part of a medical helecopter unit, he is communications so he does most of his work on base. The base is in a little bit of a scary area (30 miles from Pakistan), and is getting a lot of mortar hits and such, but I am so thankful he is not running the roads!! Anyway, it was nice to hear from an ex-marine who knows what it is he is doing. I hope you are doing OK and all is well wih you, may you have a good day, low on the pain scale!

  I LOVE LOVE LOVE that clay pack from walmart...I have two and keep them in the freezer...take them on road trips etc.

  hey , thanks for the support. sorry for late reply, i havent been on for awhile. how are you doing?? i have been ok, leg pain has gone but still get alot of back pain, which the medication is keeping under control for now. my specialist said we have to wait and see what is caused by surgery and what is caused by my spinal stenosis and dry discs. anyway, let me know how you doing!!
