Close Heroin Addiction & Recovery
Hello, I am a recovering heroin,and benzo addict.I've been clean,with the use of suboxone, for 16 months.I'm very interested in both sides of support for this/my disease,and would love to be part of this group.Furthermore I would just like to add that I work as a chemist.
Treatments
- Narcotics Anonymous (NA) Working / Worked
- I've been going to NA meeting on and off for approx. 3 years. I have mixed feelings about meetings,but lean more towards it being a helpful part of my recovery.
- Residential Treatment Center Working / Worked
- I have been to inpatient treatment 12 times.I have found it to be very helpful in my recovery.
- Suboxone Working / Worked
- I am presently on suboxone,and have been using it the whole 16 months of being "clean". I also used it in the past,but would discontinue use of it durring relapses. I believe this medication works well.
- Subutex Working / Worked
- I'm currently on suboxone,and first used subutex for a few days prior to beggining suboxone. This treatment has worked for me this far.

I'm here to help the loved ones of addicts. I am a revovering heroin and benzo addict.
