Close Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)
I have had 2 bowel resections and part of the colon removed due to scar tissue from previous hysterectomy. The first surgery was 3 yrs ago since then i have diarrhea all the time.10-12 times daily no matter what I eat. been on different meds. some help some dont. I have not had a normal bowel movement in 3 yrs. anyone else out there with this problem? HELP

- Bentyl Somewhat Helpful
- worked till body became immune was on med for over year.
- High Fiber Diet Not Working
- terrible...made my condition much worse
- Imodium Somewhat Helpful
- sometimes helps till body gets used to and then no help
- Levsin Somewhat Helpful
- worked till body became immune was on med for over year.
- Lomotil Working / Worked
- works for very short time. tends to irritate my boewls after extended use
- Levsin Working / Worked
- works great when taken 34 times daily...dr will only give enough for 2 times per day
- Codeine Working / Worked
- helps to slow the pooping process. makes me sleepy sometimes
