I have been living with a significant other for about 9 years now. He's a brittle diabetic and had a stroke 2 years ago at the age of 47. I guess that you could call me not only his girlfrield but his caregiver too.

Type: Clinical (Major) DepressionI have been battling with depression all of my life. Attempted suicide 3 times..the first time when I was 12. I've always been afraid to talk to people about my feelings but I like to listen to theirs. I just need to know that I'm now alone out here.

I was born into an extremely dysfunctional family. My parents were never emotionally there for either my sister or myself mainly due the fact that they wanted boys not girls. I have been married to two alcoholic husbands who have since died and am now living with a significat other who offers little or no support.

- seems like, unless I take my Xanax I cry all the time and mostly for no reason what so ever most of the time except that I have felt so lonely
