I lost the 4 pounds of water I was holding, plus 1 more pound. Amazing what a bout of diarrhea will do, eh.
For whatever reason, I'm happy. I'm wondering if the plateau is broken or if I was just sick...but I'll take the weight loss! I'm also going to try and increase my daily caloric intake, as I think I may be down too low and going into starvation mode.
I'm sewing myself a new dress, that I hope fits...and if it does, I'll use it for my July photo (mid-month) as I'm marking each month's transformation, on or around the same date as my surgery, the 13th of April). Wish me luck....at any rate, the sewing is always enjoyable.
We've been watching the Tour de France on tv and enjoying following Lance Armstrong since we met him a couple of years ago for lunch. I'm still encouraging Andy to resume cycling after riding across Canada last summer - but he's got girls in his eyes these days. I guess that is completely normal for a guy about to turn 18 yrs old next month. Still, I know he was happier and healthier when he was cycling. I hope my kids learn some lessons watching my transformation - so far, nope, but I have my fingers crossed.
