Close Acromegaly
diagnosed with acromegaly fall of 2003, bit tumor, "size of walnut", according to endo. Had surgery 11/2003, didn't get all of tumor. Health and general well being improved quickly. Arthritis in Shoulders and hips. one hip replaced 7/2007. Shoulda done it sooner.
Treatments
- Octreotide Working / Worked
- Growth hormone on high side of normal for age; not outside of acceptable range. No appreciable side effects. Injections are literally a pain.
- Testosterone Working / Worked
- Energy increased markedly. Feel like I did 15 years ago.
