Hey, all that pain and no hugs yet, so I thought I'd be the first! I do hope you find help on DS, there are a great bunch of people here who will help if they can with anything. Read the Discussion board and the Advice board and if you need help, ASK. Someone will always respond. I feel for you with back pain, I had L4 &L5 fused back in my twenties, but thankfully I was able to conquer the post op pain. I remember feeding myself on Valium and Gin when things got really bad! Close Back Pain
Had lumbar back fusion 2004 with titanium rods L4L5 and two laminectomy levels with poor pain relief. Continued to work having epidurals. Pain worsened to debilitating level last year. Poor pain relief with tramadol, lyrica and vicodin. Live with 8-10 pain level daily. Want to see what is helping others.
Treatments
- Bedrest Somewhat Helpful
- Try not to overdo on the resting to keep strong.
- Chiropractic Adjustment Not Working
- Used to use for 20+ years
- Cortisone (Injection) Not Working
- Had many since 2003. Do not work anymore
- Epidural Injection Not Working
- Have had many.
- Heat Somewhat Helpful
- Hydrocodone Not Working
- Naproxen Not Working
- Cannot tolerate nsaids
- Physical Therapy Not Working
- Increased pain
- Relaxation Somewhat Helpful
- Meditation
- Stretching Not Working
- TENS Somewhat Helpful
- Lyrica Not Working
- Causing pain swollen joints all over.
