Journal

So, I wake up early Saturday morning, and there is something warm in bed with me.  At first, I thought it was the cat, but it seemed a little more solid and heavier.  So, JR has decided we shouldn't break up.  Keep in mind, this decision was made quite some time ago (a month maybe), and, when asked, he said he was sure and not going to change his mind.

Anyway, he says he is willing to clean this place out and his packing was a good start.   I have to do my part and be a little brutal with all my crap as well.  Anyway, we'll see what happens.  There were times when I was the happiest I ever was.  However, if it digresses into a roommate situation, I will kick him out.

Thanks to all of you for your support, including but not limited to, Rob, Rick, India and Tim.  We got each other through another crisis.  Love you all.

Well, Veterans Day is a state holiday, so I am off of work.  Thanks to all of you who served in the armed services for your sacrifices. 

I had a rough day at work yesterday, but it was a good type of rough. . .fighting with the IT department and learning that the open meeting law may be causing us some additional issues.  It is nice to have a job where you feel engaged.

J.R. had decided to move out.  We are parting much more amicably (sp?) than I thought possible.  He told me he had thought about staying, but decided he need his own space.  We could still be friends, see each other's cats, and have dinner once in awhile.  I was expecting him to do something mean, like paint fag on my car or kick holes in the wll.  I thought he might have opened a credit card under my name, but I looked into it and I was wrong.  The bank never closed a card I had cancelled.

I will help him move.  I think it will be a disaster.  He has too much stuff. 

I am looking forward to fixing up this place, which is truly trashed, and to have it nice and SPARE.  I don't know that I could ever live with anyone again.

So J.R. called me at work Monday and asked me how I felt about him moving out.  I told him to stay.  I really think if we both worked on it, we could get things worked out.  I am not saying it would be easy, but if we could get rid of a lot of JUNK in this dump, fix it up, and actually sleep together on a regular basis, we would be fine.  We were planning to talk about it that night.  He comes home after a class he is taking, and is too tired to talk.

Tonight I figure I won't push the issue, and he say nothing.  Yesterday, I really wanted him to stay.  Then after we didn't talk, I was thinking maybe he should go.  Tonight, I am like:  "Well whatever happens, happens." 

Maybe I will move to Ohio.
