My name is Wanda. I'm a mother of two beautiful daughters. Emma is 2 1/2 years old. Lindsey was 8 weeks and 5 days old when she passed away on April 9, 2009. I have been with my husband for 12 years, 3 of which we've been married. I am a Registered Nurse that currently works in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

i know my mine still blames myself for my twins passing away but i know it wasn't my fault. i'll continue to pray for you and your family. it will get better that you'll remember her and smile and laugh. like moosesmom said hanging in there. take one breath at a time. it will be okay, hope emma gets better soon

Close Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS)
: I have lost a child to SIDSI just lost my sweet baby girl on 04/09/2009. She was almost 9 weeks old. We were told after her autopsy that it was SIDS, but that toxocology and organ tissue testing were being done. We are at a loss for words and can't help thinking we somehow did something wrong. She was vaccinated the afternoon of 04/08/2009 with her first vaccines and I found her dead the next morning in her crib. I wish the pending test results would come back so I can know if there is a reason our baby is gone.
