  Hi Realitycheck119, My name is Ron and I have Metastisized RCC in my lymph nodes just below the sternum beteen my lungs. Currently I am on Torisel and have been for 12 months. I also am experiencing swelling in my feet, ankles, and up past my knee. I normally have my Torisel treatments every other week. The Dr. had me skip a treatment and my swelling went down after a couple of weeks. Is your unkle on any medication currently? It could be a urinary problem. I would consider talking to his Dr. about any side effects from the chemo/radiation. I'm surprised he had the chemo/rad because I have read and been told by a few Dr. that in most caes RCC does not react well with chemo/rad. I have been on many different medications and IL-2 treatments and the only thing that has kept my cancer stable is the Torisel. My side effects from the Torisel has me swelling so much that I can barely bend my leg to put my pants on. Please keep me posted. Lots of Hugs from Ronnie1
