Close Back Pain

i had an discomtectomoy in 1998. It releived my back pain alot but i still have severe nerve pain.1999 I went back into surgery and had a fusion at L5/S1 level. With no releif of nerve pain. 2000 I had a spinalcord stimulator placement that seem to help for a short time now it's more irritating to me then any pain releif.

Treatments

Bedrest Working / Worked

It helps but with two kids who can stay in bed 24/7. I also my life is wasting away.

Carisoprodol Working / Worked

I take robaxian and it helps with crampping that would otherwise send me straight out of bed in the middle of the night. And minamal crampping during the day.

Cortisone (Injection) Somewhat Helpful

a little pain releif but it doesn't last but a week or so.

Epidural Injection Somewhat Helpful

same as cortisone injections. I noticed they both make my appitiate increase drasticley

Heat Not Working

No releif at all! But an Ice Pack seems to help at times.

Hydrocodone Somewhat Helpful

You taake it to long and your body becomes ammune to it and you won't get good pain releif.

Morphine Working / Worked

Yes! This works very well I feel like i have a life cause it makes the pain barable where i feel like a person.

Physical Therapy Not Working

Does not help at all it just irritates everything and then i'm in severe pain. I tried physical theraphy for many years.

TENS Not Working

Had a spinalcord stimulator placement in 2000 helped for a short time. Now does nothing for pain releif

Cymbalta Working / Worked

Helps the pain meds work better If i dont take my cymbalta i notice a big difference in my pain meds not working as well.
