Work has a way of doing this to us. It is the build up of cortisol that sends us into a frenzy for up to 12 hours after the initial panic or stress. I will be praying for you. In the meantime, the best way to cut down on the cortisol is to take a nap. Easier said than done I know, but it does help. And talk to the doctor about any med changes. You might just find that some lifestyle changes like just relaxing with no t.v., radio, computer, etc. an hour before bed can help better than a med increase. Believe me, I've been there.
thank you so very much, i need all that i can get right now.
Congrats! I am so happy for you!!!!!! A great way to end the vacation! Jenn
Boy do I know that feeling on vacation-- Here you want to be having a great time and all you feel like doing is resolving the sleep problems. Remember we are all thinking of you and wishing you well.

A few times a year, I hit month-long patches of bad insomnia. I stopped taking Zoloft in preparation for trying to get pregnant, and it was as if my body completely forgot how to sleep. After a few months of practically no sleep (and uncontrollable anxiety), I decided to go back on. Things are a bit better, but as my husband and I get closer to when we plan to start trying to get pregnant, my fear and shame about possibly taking medication while pregnant grows.
Been dealing with anxiety for years, much of it the result of chronic insomnia. Was off medication for a few months, but now things are bad again. I'm back on medicine, and the anxiety has reduced, but I'm still having trouble sleeping.
