I hope your recovery is treating as well as can be expected. I had endo and adeno. My mother had endo and grandmother died from uterine cancer. I posted in your discussion but if you need any help let me know..(((hugs))) Staci

Close Hysterectomy
I have had several years of miscarriages, ectopic pregnancies, failed infertility treatment (one trial and we successfully adopted a daughter). With all of my difficulties conceiving, diagnosis of endometriosis along with fibroid tumors, it was highly recommended that I have a total abdominal hysterectomy. My mother also died of ovarian cancer in her late fifties. I received a second opinion in February, 2009. My surgery was on April 8th and I am on day eleven of my recovery.
