Dignosed with Hep C 2b January started TX on 4/10/2009 24 weeks of shots and 1800mgs ribavarin a day I am a glazier (glass, not doughnuts. :) I am married, have three step children and two wonderful granddaughters. My philosophy is: "It is what it is". I enjoy camping, fishing, hunting and Nascar. Sounds like a real redneck, huh? Raised in LA, but a redneck at heart! Have lived in beautiful rural Northern Nevada for 25+ years.

I am also Hep 2b. Diagnosed in 4/09. I guess we're among the lucky ones in the Hep C world. Not only is it easier to cure if you play by the rules, my hubby liver dr. believes by it;s (no alcohol or drug overload) it is not as damaging to liver.

Thanks for the words of encouragement. He does work his butt off during the week. I just get tired of getting the "leftovers". I understand its hard on him. Just frustrating for me.

Close Hepatitis C
dx'd 1/09, type 2b, started tx 4/10/09. Finished TX 09/18 , Vl none
Treatments
- Pegylated Interferon Working / Worked
- 2 shots so far, very little side effects except for 4x4 patch of redness, swelling, heat, burning & itching at injection site.
- Ribavarin Working / Worked
- A little jittery, takng 1200mg in am and 600mg in pm. side effects so far not noticeable.
Close Smoking Addiction & Recovery
