Have had CFS since 1995. I am a 44 year old man who use to do blue collar work until I became disabled. I now hold a 4 year degree in Information Security, but due to my worsening condition, I have not been able to put my education to use.

Been playing heavy metal rhythm guitar since 1987, but due to hand tremors, it can be tough to play. Been a life long video gamer. Playing a video game is like staring in a Hollywood blockbuster movie and is a good escape for me. I live movies and T.V. like TLC, Discovery, the History Channel, and such. I like to read non fiction military history books and am currently reading "Joker One" a book about a Marine Rifle Platoon in Iraq during the 2004 Ramadi uprising... light reading... lol!

I've been living alone since my brother died in 07 and I've been sick for little over a year now with CFS and fibro. I know how you feel...everyone else has what looks like an amazing amount of energy to us...but it's normal for them. The only thing I can tell you is that taking advantage of the fantastic people on this site will help the loneliness. Also playing interactive video games. I'm into World of Warcraft myself. But above all....don't blame yourself for the CFS. None of us wanted this. You might want to see about taking B12 supplements (check with your doc)...I've been taking it for about 2 months now and it really does help.
