Morning everybody!! Its still very hot here, and will be for the next 5 days . What a heatwave. 90's and humid. Its so stupid, we are closed up all winter long because of the weather, and get a couple of weeks in the spring to breath, and them wham!! this crap. I lived in Florida for a couple of years, and its cooler there than here in the summer. Oh well enough complaining about something I can't change. Sorry I was venting!! lol
Hope all of you had a great Fathers Day. We went to the Science Center. That is what he wanted to do, thank God, his pick wasn't the zoo!! It was crowded and stuffy in there, but the little kids I saw looked like they were having a ball. I would like to take the grandkids, but I would never find it. They have major roads torn up here, and I don't know back roads like Wayne does. Course there are NO signs telling you how to get anywhere in this town. So if any of you have gotten lost in St Louis, you have my sympathy!!!
Wayne brought me home a lovely gift this morning. His white work shirt with somebodys blood on it and I have to get it clean. I really don't want to mess with the blood thing, I don't know how dangerous that can get. I will soak the shirt in peroxide, so that will hopefully kill any germs. He got into it with a guy who kicked his partner, so I guess the fight was on. His partner is a woman, and I don't know how she deals with the stuff she has to mess with. I should send her the shirt to clean!! I can think of many other gifts I would like to have over this nasty shirt.
I am still having pain in the hip and leg, but its starting to let up some, so that is a plus. We went on a bike ride Saturday with the club we belong to, and I didn't have to much trouble . Gosh Deb is right, the flowers and smells are so great this time of year. No nasty smells this time, no skunks like we have had so many times before!! lol
My garden is doing great. Wayne planted everything so there is no rhyme or reason to any of it!! The tomatoes will not let me down this summer, I have so many baby ones , and the beans are plentiful. I need to water it , I forget that stuff because I don't go outside. Another excuse right???

Sandy, if we could meet somewhere in the middle, weather-wise, I think we'd both be happy! It's been raining in the Boston area for 6 straight days (1 day of sun and 4 days of rain before that!) We haven't been out of the 60s in so long...sigh...sooner or later the sun will shine! LOL

your honey planted your garden for you? Now that's love! I think I'm gonna cry, lol. No tomatoes here unless something pops up from last years seeds...it's possible but since Alex is doing paid weeding it's possible that everything might go. I have also been hiding inside. I have five trays of annuals just outside the back door waiting to be planted, it may never happen... keep cool my friend, hugs jilly
