My Mother's passing Mood
Wednesday, September 9, 2009

My mother just passed away from Alzheimer's Disease 8/13/09.  I am having a difficult time finding peace in the way she passed.

She started out not eating and drinking, along with pacing and not sleeping and anxiety.  It got worst with her eyes closed and screaming, "no no, help me." They admitted her into the hospital and ran tests to make sure there was no infection or broken bones and there was nothing.  She continued to get worst and was unable to walk anymore but would thrash and scream "help me" for over a month, till finally 4 days before her passing she was calm.  She was heavily medicated to calm her and for pain and nothing would work.  It was so painful to watch is this a normal passing for this disease?
