Today is like most other days as of recent. I start my day by getting myself out of bed.That is a big step forward. AHHH coffee in my tummy! My 2 cats are clammering for attention and for a full food bowl. My dog is waiting for his walk, My husband hugs me and on that walk we go! When my animals are happy I get ready for work. This is where my day gets really good! I am a CNA in an assissted living facility. We have 2 buildings one houses independent elders it is a 3 story building with the 2nd story dedicated to independent living with assistive services. The other building is dedicated to early stages Alzheimer's and Dementia. I have the pleasure of working in both buildings and it makes my day go around! I love to love the elders i care for and i love to care for them. It is beyond just learning what life can give you from the stories you hear and the families you see giving all the love in the world to the elders in our facility. It goes into fulfilling a purpose and knowing who you are meant to be. This is what i want for myself and this is what i want in my life and I know that the other things i wish for are just a stone's throw away. I will get my prolactinoma under control and I am still young enough to get pregnant. My family is already started it just needs to grow! I am happy doing what i do for my work and my life is getting back to where it needs to be. So I guess i'm learning what happens when you care for somebody on a daily basis and when they count on you to do so.
