Bad migraine with throwing up today.
Going back to the neurologist Friday. on 50 mg of Elavil.
I am a crohn's patient and a migraine patient. The migraines are several times a week and are a bigger problem than the crohn's. I am formerly a manager with a pharmaceutical company for 10 of my 15 years with them. It is a good background if you are sick!! I left on disability with back problems and went into several things but most recently mediated several hundred divorces.

I was diagnosed with crohn's in my 40's. The main trouble i was having was my back problems which caused me to leave my career in pharmaceuticals. They cleared up with 6MP, the immunosuppressive. I started with migraines in my late 30's just around my period. I now have them several times a week. I had a hysterectomy years ago and they got worse then. Migraines are my main problem now. My triggers seem to be weather changes, and possibly food. Also i can tolerate little alcohol. I'm wondering if other foods like gluten could be a problem too.
I have crohn's but my worse problem is migraines. I started with just one around my period and then had a hysterectomy and they got worse. I take 50 mg of Elavil, with only some help. Weather and even a small drink of wine or any alcohol can trigger them. Then sometimes i can't figure out what triggered them. I'm beginning to wonder about gluten?
