      hey just wanted to say your one of the people I really respect and what you said was really helpful - the frusteration i was talking about in my journal wasnt directed at you but others. Thank you for your advice I really appreciate it

      Hi, I read your post. May I suggest a couple of things? First, go see an Endocrinologist. They can check all the hormones that course through your body, that can just as easily cause your depression as anything else. ECT does not have to be an option for you right now. Secondly, you reference PTSD. If you have had trauma; there will be no somatic therapy that does you any lasting good. You will need Trauma Therapy to help you verbalize the emote your pain, grief, and fear. I would like to recommed a book, "Trauma and Recovery" by Judith Herman, MD. She is a world reknown trauma expert. If you have ECT, be sure to have them start with right-unilateral ECT stimuation with a brief pulse ECT machine. Stay away from Bilateral stimulation as much as possible.

      Whenever I am here, I am more than willing to help in any way that I can. I came from a family that always worked long and hard. My father told me recently, that he wished he had spent more time enjoying the simple times with our family. Please take some time for yourself. That's all I ask.
