My name is Sandy. I was diagnosed during emergency surgery on Feb 9th 2009. They removed 3 ft of my colon. So far everything has been working and for that I'm gratful. I have always been healthy and love the outdoors. I moved to Kimberling City, Mo 7 years ago to be in a little warmer climate and be closer to a beautiful lake. After surgery I made the decision to return to Ne. for treatment. Omaha has several wonderful cancer centers and I just felt that I could get better care here. It is also nice to be closer to my kids grandkidsand old friends. I do miss my condo at the lake and hope to return as much as possible inbetween treatments this summer.

Hi SunnGal...Think about you. I'm so sorry to hear about a recurrence. I'll watch your posts for further information. I'm praying everything works out. MPNC
Thinking about you and hoping you are getting better news
Sending positive thoughts and prayers your way ---
Not showing up on the CT makes no sense will keep you in my prayers G8
Hi Sungal, I'm with you on this one --- it makes no sense it didn't show up in the scan, does it? This is probably just the final "clean-up" call necessary for complete remission. From what I've heard, a couple of surgeries is not that uncommon in curing this disease. You're in my prayers. Feel free to vent at me anytime.
