Well, let's see how this all works. I suppose you should check my profile for a quick overview. In a positve spirit I embrace the pain and aggrivation that come's with it. At least I know I'm alive and kicking and kicking and kicking.
I find these support groups in the very least - very interesting. I thought I was alone in the forest of dementia - slowly drowning in the quicksand of depression.
Anyways... enough prose!
Today, April 27 was a day filled with nagging headaches even with the Lortabs. (allowed four per day PRN 7.5/500) Also have a vial full of Fiorinal w/codeine - that I hardly use as the side effects are frightening. I also seem to break out in the webs of my fingers if I take two of them within a 24 hour period. They do help with the headaches - but not much.
I am seeking to learn more about fibromyalgia. If I can connect the dots - I know I'll feel better. Doc says not sure if I have fibro as diabetics are subject to muscular aches, hip, foot and joint pain. I take... Actos, Metformin, Novolog, Simvastatin and Lisinopril directly for the diabetes. For pain the Lortabs have been a welcome med. No euphoria... damn!!! RELIEF - yes! Constipation - yes! Heavy face feeling - yes! lack of concentration - sometimes. Addicted? CERTAINLY NOT - "dependent," says my doctor. Also, recently starting (or back on) vitamin D (1000mg) daily.
This past Saturday and Sunday - agonizing pain in my nostrils causing (?) painful headaches - near migraines - could not eat.
That's all for now - let's see how this 'journal' works...
