geesh... ten years ago I'd laughed at some of the posts on this site. Yeah, I was one of those real 'sensitive' people who believed it was mind over matter. Healthy since birth - God got me back at age 48 with onset diabetes. Kept my levels fairly normal until the past two years and got everything known to man.
Now I'm a chronic pain sufferer. Lower back, hips, legs, feet, and recent and perhaps recurring bout with the shingles. Missing time from work - thank God for FMLA or I'd be living under a bridge.
Off again today with real bad aggrivation (my words for manageable pain with pills) in hips, legs (nearly numb) and foot pain. And, nasel pain that streches into my head/skull/upper neck. I call them near migraines. Need to find out (other than Lortab) how to manage the awful pain in the left nasel cavity. I'm thinking since I live on a golf course (in a condo, please) that I'm now allergic to the air and wind. Good grief, what's next??
Called the Drs office yesterday and today. It is a HMO - so I should be hearing back from them during the summer. I made an appt for next week - at least I'll get about 90 seconds of face time.
