i think being sick and alone is a veary bad thing know one should have to feel that way ever if it had not been for the people on -d-s- i would have lost my mind the people here mad me feel like i was still important like i matter to some one some where i was all ways the one helping every one els but when i needed help people turned away h i v is not a death sentens but it is a life change that is for sure good or bad change i guess it is up to me and me only but -d-s= show me frendship i did not have befor beleave me i would have been lost with out you guys i could never turn away from you guys i have a new way of looking at again i could never be the same

I think that family want to be there they just don't know how . I feel as you do my DS family has been true friends. I am the mother of 2 and the only person I told was my brother. My church members don't have a clue. The best info that was giving to me by my DS family is this is a long road sometimes but look around you'll find out that you aren't the only one with this thing nor will you be the last one of it's kind. Stay strong. Stangers can make the best family because they chose you to be in there world.

i am a caregiver in the health field, i see many families turn thier backs on sick friends and family. it is very sad. i also, have several friends who ahve had hiv and recntly passed, but led long lives, even after being diagnosed. its not a death sentence and more people should open thier eyes........

that is the only way to look it h.i.v.treatment has came a long way and in time it will only get better thank god it is a good thing and a veary important thing is to realy do right as far as your health is concern me myself only think about health in life there is only one thing that we must focus on and that is our health that fist and all els will fall in to place ok my frend bless you
