Dx'd on Jan. 2nd with Stage III colon cancer. 5 of 17 nodes tested positive for 'a few cancer cells'. Had surgery Jan. 7th 2009. Chemo bi-weekly and completed on Aug. 12, 2009/. Doing great! Psalm 118:17 I will not die, but live, and I will proclaim what the Lord has done!

Had my 11 th tx yesterday out of 12. Almost done!

So far, so good, but Friday Discconnect generally heralds in the icky feeling and weakness.

Close Colon Cancer
Bloating and feeling like my abdomen was full of gas led to a colonoscopy and dx. Stage III with 5 of 17 nodes testing positive for few cancer cells. Mod. aggressive tumor. K-Ras gene.
Treatments
- Chemotherapy Working / Worked
- FOLFOX, completed August 12th.
- Oxaliplatin Working / Worked
- Underwent 'mop up' chemo.
- Surgery Working / Worked
- I had a lap surgery to remove my tumor (less than 1") and 18 " of colon. Also removed 17 lymph nodes. 5 had 'a few microscopic cancer cells'.

Type: Loss of a SiblingMy only sibling, a younger brother, was murdered three years ago the day after Easter. He was struck and fell, hitting his head. He died hours later from brain fluid leaking. His attacker is in prison.
